While we nest in our own homes and spaces during the COVID-19 lockdown – we are still here in community with Mindful ME. These are some of the opportunities to connect with, and engage with us. Over the next while we will be updating this page regularly, with new workshop events relevant to our current experience.
While we aren’t currently running all of our normal group workshops – please remember that you can do all of these as private sessions with our consultants. Contact us to book remote private sessions here.
Upcoming 4 week programmes currently running via Zoom include:

Online workshop events have a “Name Your Price” option to break down financial barriers to participation, especially during these challenging times. This means that you can nominate your own price for the workshop, from AED50, so that you can help support others by offering more if you can, or less if you can’t.
- 25th July – Mixed Messages – How to Parent when you can’t agree (2pm with Jo)
Parents often disagree with how to raise their children – and it usually not on the big things but the day to day aspects of child-rearing which cause frustration, irritation and tension. TV time, mealtimes, bedtimes and homework are the most common topics parents argue about – alongside regular discussions over who’s turn it is to cope with the latest friendship issues, set boundaries around tidying their rooms or taking them to get a haircut. Parenting can often feel like we are walking across a minefield with our partner, resulting in our children receiving mixed messages and feeling confused over how to respond to different people on different days. We will explore this topic with parents during this 90-minute online session and look at the strategies you can use to communicate more clearly with your co-parent and what to do when conflict does arise. Please email Jo on email@example.com to register
