RAIN Practice

Tara Brach, one of our favourite mindfulness and meditation teachers, uses a practice called RAIN to help bring the two wings of mindfulness and compassion together. It is in this nurturing practice that we can befriend our experience and, instead of denying or “letting go”, we can make a kind space for ourselves. This is a helpful practice to use as your daily mindfulness practice, in private sessions, journaling, or in moments of intensity.
