Our retreats are experiential events that take many different forms – from one-day local mini-breaks to weekend regional getaways or even international retreats.

Retreats are as dynamic or as quiet as you like. We have a range of activities from reflective personal practices to creative workshops, yoga classes, meditation groups and mindful eating experiences. We recommend a post-retreat one on one debriefing with one of our team which we offer at a retreat discounted rate.

Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

Our popular local retreat is back again! After a very special February retreat we are thrilled to announce that we will be doing it all again (in a different way) in April before summer kicks in.

The retreat’s well-designed programme will be firmly rooted in exploring the 7 Key Principles of Mindfulness and the 7 Flames of Joy. Helen, Isabel and Kristine will guide you through the journey of deepening your mindfulness practice and exploring seated meditation as well as mindful living. Experiencing these topics in a community space reveal perspectives and insights that are invaluable. You will have time to rest and absorb the spirit of the retreat and meet yourself in a new way so that as you reconnect with your daily life you can carry with you the peaceful stillness that you cultivate over the weekend.

Activities include conversations, workshops, art, yoga, chanting, qigong, mindful eating, journaling, as well as a few other treats along the way. Private individual sessions will be available during the weekend if you find that you need someone to speak with.

The XVA Art Hotel proves time and again to be the safe and nurturing space ideal for our retreats. Being surrounded by the quietly textured, historical and creatively vibrant walls of the 3 gorgeous courtyards, and the peacefulness of the two rooftops, makes it easy to soften your shoulders and rest easily knowing that anything you need will be catered for. Whether you choose to have a single room or share with a friend – this personal space will be your retreat with the retreat. Each room is individually and quirkly decorated with an inspired character of it’s own.

We will begin our retreat on Thursday evening with a nutritious dinner at 7pm and will end our time together on Saturday evening at 6pm so that you can rest at home before the new week begins.
